Terms of Use and Service

 

By ordering from Precious Thyme, I agree to the following terms:


Use and Storage

1. I will promptly freeze my meals upon delivery Precious Thyme.

2. I will follow the thawing and baking instructions specified on each meal.

3. I will keep dinners below 40ºF (as in a freezer) while in storage and I will heat all dinners to an internal temperature above 145ºF for beef, 155ºF for fish, pork, or ground beef and 165ºF for poultry when ready to eat.

4. I assume full responsibility for preparation and proper storage of all of my Precious Thyme meals.

5. I agree to release Precious Thyme from all claims, damages and causes of action or liabilities which may arise as a result of my preparation, storage and consumption of Precious Thyme meals, except if solely due to the gross negligence of Precious Thyme.

6. I will not resell my Precious Thyme dinners or use them for commercial service.



Ordering, Payment, & Delivery

1. Each order must be a minimum of 7 entrees per 1 ordering guest.

2. Precious Thyme will deliver the meals in an appropriate cooler or thermal container that will preserve the integrity and quality of the meals.

3. We will happily accept payments via PayPal. This allows customers to use Credit Cards for payment. PayPal membership is not required to use this payment method. Customers selecting "Pay by Paypal" will receive an invoice in email, with instructions for making payment through the PayPal website. Orders paid via PayPal will be scheduled for delivery the next available delivery day, once payment notification is received.

4. If payment has not been made before delivery, payment is due and payable in full at time of delivery. Payment in the form of cash or check made payable to Precious Thyme is acceptable at this time. Delivery personnel will not accept credit card payments. All returned checks are subject to a $25 returned check fee.

5. If Precious Thyme delivery personnel arrive at a delivery and the customer is not home, we will make every attempt to contact the customer by phone. If it is necessary for the delivery to be rescheduled for a different day, the customer will be responsible for a $10 meal storage and re-delivery fee.

6. Orders may be cancelled up to 48 hours before the promised delivery time. After that point, meals have begun the preparation and delivery process, and the order is payable in full, at the scheduled delivery date and time. Rescheduled deliveries are generally available, subject to a $10 meal storage and re-delivery fee.
